Kala Reynolds Smith

Kala Reynolds Smith passed away in May of 2014. She was visiting England and was buried there. Her husband's family lives in England.

Kala Reynolds was born in Bloomington, the daughter of Pearl T. and Helen Jones Reynolds. She graduated from Bloomington High School in 1962. She married Michael Smith. She is also survived by a sister Carrie Mackey, Texarkana, AR. Kala was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and a sister Lila Reynolds Horn.

She received a Bachelor of Science Illinois State University in 1966 -degree in Chemistry and Mathematics
Master of Science degree in 1968 - degree in Chemistry and Mathematics.

She moved to Rochester, Michigan where she lived with her husband and two daughters.
Secondary school teacher in Warren, Michigan from 1968 -1996. Taught chemistry and mathematics.
Retired in 1996 and moved to Venice, Florida. She and her husband loved to travel.
