Kluesner, Leo E. fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Monday December 19, 2011. Beloved husband of Mary Carol Kluesner (nee Krueger); dear father of Lea Suzanne (Chuck) Michel, Spencer (Julia) Kluesner and Scott (Martha) Kluesner; dear grandfather of Kaeli Kluesner, Brendan Michel, Colby Kluesner, Maxwell Kluesner and Caroline Kluesner; dear brother of the late Ralph Kluesner. Services: Memorial Mass to be held at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (Webster Groves) on Tues. Dec. 27, 10 am. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Leo served with the 4th Marine Division on Iwo Jima and with the 1st Marine Division in Korea. He was a teacher, avid reader, outdoorsman and enjoyed playing the harmonica. Leo provided his family a lifetime of wonderful memories during the summers he spent as a Park Ranger at National Parks throughout the U.S. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Ready Readers (www.readyreaders-stlouis.com) or the Gateway Harmonica Club (www.gatewayharmonicaclub.org)
