Bob, I hope your spirit will be with us next June, and that somehow you know how much I truly valued your friendship. My real brother was much older than me, and in many ways you were more of a spiritual brother to me. I'm very glad that fate brought me to live just across the street from you and that we were in the same class with the same last name. I will forever remember our childhood explorations of the orange groves, and how wonderful it was to learn to swim at your parents' swim school. I miss you and think of you often. Bob and I rekindled our high school relationship after our CHS class reunion in'89. As it turned out, he was practicing optometry up the road in Aloha, OR. I immediately dumpted my then current eye doc and started seeing Bob with great results. A few years later, he retired to Alaska, to boat and fish, his great passion. I never heard from him again until,years later, another friend, told me had died of a massive heart attack. This mus have been circa 1993 or so. I have his obit somewhere, and if I can find it, I will include it here.
