Mr Terry is a long time resident and community advocate in Southfield. He has served on the Southfield Civil service board as a Commissioner and on the Southfield employee pension board as a Trustee. Mr Terry is a family man, Married with 2 Children and is dedicated to the well-being of his surrounding community. Mr Terry is a former Social Worker and counselor, as well as Probation officer. He is currently the co-founder of SEMEA, Southeast Michigan Entrepreneurs Association. This organization is geared towards advocating for small business owners and future entrepreneurs to utilize the proper resources for advancement and the betterment of their communities. Mr Terry is also an advocate in retaining youth talent in the state of Michigan through the efforts of SEMEA. Mr Terry is a Managing Partner and consultant with YMB training solutions in Southfield. He is a change agent for the betterment of senior citizens in advanced technology, to assist those who need the tools to survive in the 21st Century.
