Patrick M. Birge Beldio

I have become a scholar of comparative religion and theology. Some of my areas of academic research and teaching are interreligious studies, comparative theology, Hindu-Christian relations, Interfaith dialogue, religion and art, religion and gender, and religion and sustainability. I am currently teaching at the University of Scranton in the Theology and Religion Department. I am also a professional sacred sculptor with a studio at the Franciscan Monastery in Washington, DC. My wife Audrey works for the Department of Energy in DC as a Senior Executive in the National Nuclear Security Administration.
