John Alva Robertson, 62

John Alva Robertson, 62, of Union, MO, died on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at his home, surrounded by family and friends.

A memorial celebration will be held at noon on Saturday, May, 7, at Meramec State Park in Missouri.

Mr. Robertson was born on Aug. 26, 1959, to Don and Annabelle (Simmons) Robertson. He grew up in Hillsboro, where he graduated from Hillsboro High School and was an Eagle Scout. Mr. Robertson worked at Marco Screw Products and most recently at Select Powder Coating in Union, MO. He was a talented musician and the frontman for the popular Illinois-based band Bandit w/ Mid Life Crisis. Those close to him knew Mr. Robertson as a gentle soul who was happy with a simple life. He taught them to love in simple ways and he will be missed. The family is grateful to Siteman Cancer
Center and BJC Home and Hospice for allowing them the opportunity to spend additional time with him.

Mr. Robertson is survived by his wife, Marian (Horn) Robertson; brothers, Larry (Lee), and Gary (Jan) Roberston; and his niece and nephews.
