We lost Jim to an accedent just after graduation. It was a shock to all of us Dawes kids especially as Jim was a friendly guy that always gave everything he had to his friends. Bill Haeffner

I remember playing basketball with Jim. Jim was the person in high school who gave me my nickname. He first called me Beakanotis. By my senior year it was Beak. It saddened my heart when I found out the tragic way Jim died.
