NORTH HAMPTON — Roger L. Stolley, 57, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, surrounded by his loving family and friends at his home, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born Nov. 17, 1954, in Lincoln, Neb., a son of the late Harris and Marguerite (Shryock) Stolley.

Roger earned his bachelor's degree in construction management from the University of Nebraska, and had worked for Kiewit Construction Co. of Omaha, Neb., for more than 17 years. During this time, he was assigned to multi-million dollar commercial construction projects all over the country. He supervised projects that included an underground hydroelectric plant in South Carolina and the Subaru Observatory on Mauna Kea in Hawaii. His past 12 years were spent in New Hampshire, where he designed and remodeled his home and proudly provided a stable environment for his family.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Peggy (Moren) Stolley; his two sons, Michael Stolley of Seattle, Wash., and Christopher Stolley of North Hampton; his brother, Jerome Stolley of Santa Monica, Calif., and his sister, Claudia Roberts of Treasure Island, Fla.

SERVICES: A celebration of life will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Stolley family home in North Hampton. A private funeral service will be held at a later date.
