August, 2025

Hello dear classmates.
Carol Blades and I happened to both be in the Kroger parking lot this afternoon, and she informed me that Cheryl Williams died a couple of weeks ago. I found her funeral service on her church's Facebook page and shared that on my newsfeed. Classmates Jerome Martin (affectionately known as Monk Man) and Deborah Penn spoke during her funeral.
Below is the text from her obituary.

Let us be resolved to learn from the love that we have for one another, especially if we suffer with grief knowing they are not present with us. Let us celebrate the abundant life that we are given to enjoy, and hope for reunions that bless each of us. May we live this life in such as way that we can live a life of celebration on the other side of death.
