Divorced this year - so much for marriage! I moved to Alaska in March '11 for a job with Aramark as Human Resources Manager for one of our hotels in Denali Park. I see moose & caribou on a regular basis. January to mid-April I live and work in Anchorage. Mid-April to late September I'm based in Denali National Park.

With several months off between seasons, my plan is to travel. This fall I traveled to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, and then spent 5 weeks in Ecuador.

I left Ohio in '95, immediately after graduating college, and haven't been back. After living around the country (North Carolina, Illinois, Arizona, Yellowstone Park), I settled in Colorado in '98. I earned a M.Ed. from Northern Arizona University in '98, and someday I may even finish the MBA I started at North Carolina.

My free time is spent in the outdoors as much as possible - hiking, road cycling, mountain biking, backpacking, cross-country skiing, telemark skiing, etc. I've had to adopt my outdoor activities since I moved to Alaska though. Winters in Anchorage are just too cold and dark, and I didn't bring my bikes to Alaska (nowhere to ride).
