I think that we've all done a great job on getting this site going in such a short time. It looks great & it will only get better once we start adding more stuff to it. If I can get my computer to cooperate so it allows me to post a video....things will be all happy-n-stuff.
We still need lots of pics from all classmates from our days at MHS. Please send them to me or Raquel so that we can post them & add them to a slideshow.

Great job on the site to everyone. Ron, the video looks great and sounds great.

Thanks, Kelley. I made 2 of them but decided on this one since it was more to the point with less humor. No fancy recording equipment here but it will suffice for now I hope. I will be updating it monthly so keep checking back.

Great job on the site! I'm looking forward to seeing what everybody has been up to for the last 20 years. It's pretty scary, but after reviewing my graduation picture, I just realized that today I am the same age as my mom was in that graduation picture!!! Wow, has time passed by quickly. Anyway, great site and keep up the good work!

Hello,
The site is great. I'm really bummed that we will be in Northern Michigan for 4 days that week. My brother in law is tying the knot.
I'm glad we are finally taking a vacation as a family, just wish it wasn't that week.
I was such a wallflower, hated high school, was traumatized by it. But now it's cool to see everyone and catch up.

It is kind of freaky to think about 20 years! I mean I look through the profiles, and I can remember all the way back to elementary and/or jr. high. WOW is all I can say.

It seems like only yesterday we were in school. I am amazed that it has already been 20 years!!!! Are we "old"???? I guess that things change in time, like when 30 was old to me, then 40, now its 65. I am excited to see everyone and go back in time remembering all of the good times that MHS brought us.Till then.......

The site is great. I must admit this is kinda fun. 20 years though it doesn't seem that long. Thank God my kids keep me young.

Wow! The web site is great. It is good for computer dummies like me. I have to ask my eight year old computer questions. I can't believe twenty years have passed. Were have they gone.

Thanks to all who have posted comments here! It truly is amazing to think that it has been 20 years. What is even more mind boggling is all of the changes that not just we ourselves have gone through (looks, kids, marriage, jobs, houses, apartments, friends, birth, death) but also how the world has changed. Technology, music, TV, movies, wars, politics, schools & so much more!!

I look back in awe & can remember being just a kid who would always hear the "old people" tell me to enjoy my youth because it won't always be there. I would laugh that off thinking that time would drag by & that my youth would be long lasting. SURPRISE!!!! I've still remained a kid at heart & I truly believe that if we can all keep that part of us young......well then life won't be so bad. :-)

HELP US ADVERTISE! This evening at a Columbus Blue Jackets Hockey game I was able to send a text message from my cell phone that read, 20 Year Mentor High School Reunion Class of 88, August 9, 2008!, & the message rolled across the marquee for all the guests of the Entire Arena to view! If you are at a concert, sporting event, or similar function that has the same opportunity, please take it & let your class know of your efforts by posting a message on this website. It does not matter where you are, Mentor High Classmates live everywhere, so help us spread the news!

Notifying our entire class of the reunion is a huge undertaking so we appreciate all the helpers we can get. If you are interested in telephoning classmates about the reunion, please email me from my classmate profile on this website so you can help us spread the reunion news.

As always, Renate

I concur with Mary, I hatetd high school, but so much time has passed that it will be fun to see people again! Of course, with some 700 people in our class, there are more than half of you I have never met, so it will be great to meet new people and go down memory lane with those I knew! Those who attend the reunion, that is...

Thanks for putting together this site and the reunion.

Christina

See...this is why I always had a hard time with History class in high school. Hhahaha...It didn't affect me... so I had a hard time comprehending time!!!!

Everything we studied seemed sooo long ago and irrevelant to my life back then...as an immature teenager!!! (HOW FUN THOUGH!!!!!).

But now, twenty years seems like just yesterday in most respects...However, as far as the "big picture" is concerned... Look how far we've come, as a nation,... or haven't come for that matter!!!

Wow...how life changes in some respects and yet stays the same in others...it's like time can stand still in certain moments and yet be fleeting in others...Hope time goes slow the night of our reunion so I have time you see all of you guys again!!! :-)

P.S. You guys did a fabulous job putting this site together!!!! It has been really fun to go through and see everyone and be able to make contact after soooo long...

I've been checking out this site for the past few days (thanks Steve Spain and Tim Andrassy for the link!) and am quite impressed. The reunion team should be proud of themselves. Great job on the website. Quite intuitive! I look forward to the reunion. Regards...
