3 kids (how did THAT happen?) and 1 dumb-but-cute dog. I have two step-children, Max & Jamie. Max is 17, and almost 5 inches taller than me. Jamie is 14. Last winter I got the shock of my life when the mother of my 21 year old daughter, Ashlie, found me. (on Facebook of all places!) |

My family & I live in the central mountains of Colorado. We're lucky enough to live under one of the prettiest mountains in the state. I left Ohio in '95, immediately after graduating college, and haven't been back. After living around the country (North Carolina, Illinois, Arizona, Yellowstone Park), I settled in Colorado in '98. I earned a M.Ed. from Northern Arizona University in '98, and someday I may even finish the MBA I started at North Carolina.
My free time is spent in the outdoors as much as possible - hiking, road cycling, mountain biking, backpacking, etc. I'm also quite busy in our garden - we have a rather large amount of flowers, fruit trees, vegetables, herbs, etc., all of it organic & biodynamic. In the fall we get a little tired of preserving food, as we are very busy canning, freezing, and drying food. But then we're happy all winter.... |

My school story? I hated it. MHS was a miserable experience. But I somehow survived and now life is good. |

My "baby" Ashlie! Congratulations - it's a 21 year old girl! Ash lives in Idaho with her mom.
