I got to know Carla best when she and I were assigned to pick up attendance slips during the last period, and worked out of the library. She was definitely a loveable person. We lost touch after high school graduation, and I only found out about her death because her sister Sandy and my late sister-in-law Sue were good friends.
I was a close friend of Carla and took her to one of our proms. Her father was a world famous architect and she inherited his eye for detail. She was an awesome person and a friend to everyone. So young to pass to eternity!
I knew Carla well. She was a wonderful, but frail gal. I worked at her dad's office after school for 2 or 3 years and was always happy to see her. We'll miss her.
