I have the fondest memories of Mary as we grew up together. She lived 3 doors down from us and our mothers were close friends. She was a fabulous dancer and we danced many a Jitterbug at our CYO group and even on American Bandstand. We got picked as one of the best dancers and got to interview the guest of the day. If I remember correctly it was Ivory Joe Young a recording artist.
She always had a kind word for everyone and had a sweetness and kindness about her that just drew people to her, She was the sister that I never had and was always there to talk to when I needed female advice. I know that she touched many lives for the better and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
