Becky moved from Montclair to East Orange after ninth grade, and finished high School there with myself and another transplant, Arline Tyler. Becky completed the secretary program at Berkeley Secretarial School in East Orange, and worked for a time for attorney Eldredge Hawkins. She was a divorced mom of two sons when she was shot and killed by an unknown assailant on the street in South Orange where she was living in the mid seventies.
