Cissie and I met when we each moved to Montclair the summer before 4th grade.  We remained fast friends ever since that time.  In the last years we have seen Cis and Rob for a few days each year either in Hilton Head, Atlanta or Boothbay, Maine.  We always had a wonderful time together.  I do miss her terribly.  She was a wonderful person--very kind, bright and lots of fun.  She had a wonderful sense of humor.

I remember Cissi in Johnny Almquist's English class. Cissi was the most beautiful girl in the entire class and the enire school -- bar none. She sat directly in front of him. I remember him jokingly chasing her around the classroom. She was as nice as she was beautiful. I've always wondered what happened to her. I never knew her married name so I couldn't give her my regards on FaceBook.

I've worked and lived in many cities in the U.S. and the world. Her beauty, as I remember, was unmatched. During those times in Montclair in the 50's and 60's, as an Afro-American, her warmth was greatly appreciated.

RIP Cissi. God bless!

Cissi was an exceptional person... always "up" and a good friend. You had to love her! God bless her and her family, R.I.P.
