Being the classmate with the most exotic address, I thought of you during the Hong Kong disturbances, wondering whether you're still there.

Oh mercy! We're in our 80s. My pickleball partners say, "That guy over there is in his 80s!" and I want to say, "Whoa. Think again. We'd better move that up to his 90s!"
I went to The Little Schoolhouse for nursery school, run by Lucie's mother, Omie. I had more than one sleepover with her, and never a bad moment. She's a reasured part of my childhood.
I am saddened to learn of Chuck's passing. When I was first starting out as an author (around our 40th reunion, I guess) Chuck saw me come in, got out of his chair, and gave me a big hug. "Good for you!" he said. This meant a great deal to me. Somebody had noticed! I was surprised because I didn't know him well in high school. I can only imagine that his generous and kind spirit lifted many spirits during his lifetime. He held a special place in my affections, and I always looked around for him at our reunions. I will miss seeing him at our next one. If he was this gracious and thoughtful to others, I can only imagine what a supportive and loving husband he was. Good thoughts to his family.
Ann... we've never finished "blossoming"! Good work!!!!
