Mark is a real sad story and somebody that I do miss. He was an SAE with us in Gainesville. He was up there for 6 or 7 years. After graduation he had a bout with Hodgkin's disease from which he thought he had recovered. 6 or 7 years ago the cancer returned. After trying everything he could, surgery, chemo, radiation. The doctors told him that they could extend his life a few more months and make him sick as hell or he could go home and enjoy some time with his wife and 4 kids. He passed away a couple of months later. The last time I spoke with him was during thanksgiving and he died shortly after New Years. It has to be seven years ago or so.
