Ricky died November 5th, 2008 of complications from diabetes. Most who remembered him as a fun loving, helpful friend. Everyone knew Ricky. He will be missed.

Not too long ago I attended a banquet that promoted business partners of the Hillsborough County School District. I sat at a table with several other people when the man across from me blocked by the centerpiece suddenly shouted my name...it was Ricky! He stood up and announced to the strangers at the table that the only reason he passed high school english was sitting across from him!I guess I was destined to be a teacher even back then. He had a wonderful spirit and will be missed.Kathleen D. Long

Ricky and I were roommates a few years after high school.He was one of the funniest people I knew.
I would try and study for test in computer software school and he would always talk me into going out to TGI Fridays for a quick drink (or 2??).
