In Memory

Richard Ball

Richard A. Ball, of Liberty Township, a suburb of Cincinnati, OH, went to heaven on February 4, 2021 at the age of 58.

He was born December 17, 1962 in Clarksville, Tennessee. Rick lived in many places, including Tampa, Chattanooga, Clarksville, Knoxville, Cedar Falls, and Cincinnati.

Born with a natural ability in music, Rick is now drumming for Jesus! His talent was unique and sought after by many entertainers and musicians but he loved traveling and performing with the Contemporary Christian Music group, TRUTH. His blood ran deep orange for his pride for the University of Tennessee Volunteers. If you met Rick, you met a friend. He was a talker and always had a story that left you with a smile on your face.

Rick was preceded in death by: mother and step-father, Brenda (nee Tucker) and Steve Clowdus; brother, Steve Ball; paternal grandparents, Byron V. and Mildred A. Ball; and maternal grandparents, Clyde H. and Peggy H. Tucker.

Rick is survived by: wife of 25 years, Diane Christine (nee Yarborough) Ball; father and step-mother, Byron and Diane Ball; sister, Sherri DeLynne (Richard Wayne) Pirtle; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jim and Kay Yarborough; sister-in-law, Brenda (Al) Mirabile; nieces and nephews, KaLee Pirtle, Mason Pirtle, Madison Mirabile, and Kyle Mirabile; and uncles, aunts, cousins and devoted friends. He was also "uncle" to many.

Visitation and the Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, February 13, 2021, at Landmark Church, 1600 Glendale Milford Road, Cincinnati, OH 45215.  Visitation from 12:00 - 2:00 pm. Service begins at 2:00 pm.
