Sheepdog, 25 years later and I still think of you often. I am gratefull for the years we spent as friends and all the memories I have. You are missed buddy. Jeff
Philip Owens passed in 1988 as the result of a car accident in South Carolina.
We were college roommates, soccer teammates, and best friends. We went to Radford University in Virginia and played soccer for our school along with a couple other Chiefs. Phil was that friend that made it easier.
Everybody loved him—30 + Years later, when I say his name, friends smile, and love that we knew him.
Time steals - but Phil’s friendship will always be one of my most precious blessings.
Jeff - How are you doing? I went for a 5-mile run this afternoon and remembered the first time I had ever run five miles was when Coach Fink made us run 20 laps around the track at Adams Junior HS. Then I remembered how Phil and Mike were always at the front of the pack and I could never catch either one of them. They both had amazing endurance. I wish we had kept in better touch while you guys were at Radford.
