Susan Reichard, 40, of Wynantskill, past President of Wheels to Independence, and recently retired secretary, died at Samaritan Hospital after a long illness. Born in Albany and educated in Troy, she was the daughter of Reginald D. and Catherine Gennett Reichard.

Miss Reichard retired from Davis Floor Covering, where she had been a secretary, for the last 23 years. She was a communicant of St. Jude's Church, Wynantskill, and member of the Rosary Society. Miss Reichard was a former member and honorary life member of the Board of Directors of the Muscular Distrophy Foundation.
