I did not have a lot of friends in high school. Barry was in my home room and he was one of the nicest people
that I met during those years, He always had a big smile and always so happy.
He was kind and made me feel like he was a true friend at a time when I really needed one.
I was heartbroken when I heard about his passing.
I hope that his family is doing well.

I kept in touch with Barry over the years. He had a significant heart attack a few years before he died and it caused him to lose a tremendous amount of weight and start to exercise. Unfortunately, it did not prevent the second heart attack. He was a good man.

I am sorry to hear about Barry. Though I did not know him well, he was a nice person, who would say hello and be friendly as you passed through the halls. I wish the best for his wife and two daughters.
