I was working with Sally in Seattle at the 45th Street Clinic when she was in nursing school just before she died. When I heard the circumstances surrounding her death, I was shocked and heartbroken. Sally was a wonderful, beautiful,and gentle soul. I regret not having the opportunity to spend more time with her, to know her better, and to let her know how truly wonderful she was. Sally inspires how I treat people and how I am careful to judge others. You never know what is really going on in someone's life. Sally will always be remembered in my heart.
I have you to thank for my love of Elton john. I still have the cassette you gave me. Seriously, lol. I think of you every time i hear him! It was great getting to know you the last 2 years at Ike on our road trips to and from MLK elementry. Girrrl you were such a light... and missed BIG time.
