"The deceased in this case is our Daughter Carole Rempel. She was a fully qualified Commercial Pilot and had been accepted by the Canadian Armed Forces for flight training. Maybe the first woman ever. She was Mouat Band President, also runner up at the 1981 Miss Abbotsford Contest. She was working in maintainance/parts department at Frontier Helicopter and was actively involved in the Abbotsford Flying Club and the Abbotsford International Air Show. She was a very special girl!
