John Love

I lived on the Isle of Rum NNR for ten years from 1975 managing the white-tailed sea eagle reintroduction (phase 1). After two years as NCC warden in the Cairngorms NNR I was self-employed as a writer/illustrator/lecturer (with several books under my belt) before coming to SNH as Area Officer for Uist, Barra and St Kilda retiring in 2006. I am still in South Uist doing my own thing, with a St Kilda book in the pipeline and doing a bit of lecturing on cruise ships.
