AHS CLASS OF 1972 -  50th Year Reunion

Reunion Schedule:

Thursday evening, (September 15^th):  Our 1972 Class will be recognized during the “Lighting of the “A” Ceremony” in Abernathy.  If you are coming in early, plan to attend.

Friday (September 16th):  

Afternoon Pep Rally at AHS.  Our 1972 Class will receive special recognition during the Homecoming Pep Rally. 

Pre-Game Tailgate at Antelope Stadium (Food available for purchase at the school).

AHS Homecoming Football Game at Antelope Stadium in Abernathy, during the pre-game, our class will be recognized and we will be throwing 50 special 1972 50^th Class reunion footballs into the stands; Leave at Half-Time for party at Leigh Riley Harkey’s Barn (NE of Abernathy off Farm Road 54).  Thanks to Leigh for opening up her place for our reunion.

Saturday (September 17th): Tour of Abernathy High School, followed by a Community Reception in Abernathy open to classmates, parents, friends, teachers and to members of other AHS class years.

Saturday night:  Dinner and program at the Ballroom of the DoubleTree Hotel in Lubbock.
