I have wonderful memories of playing "Ponderosa" with Carolyn and Nancy Brown in the afternoons after classes were dismissed at Crockett Elementary School.
When we were in the 7th grade at Jefferson, I would pick Carolyn up every morning to take her to school with me. She paid me $3.00 a week for gas! I was so looking forward to see her at the 40th reunion. I was very sad to know that she was no longer with us.
