Thanks to all who responded to my note about Jerri's and my anniversary. Good to see some of us are still watching. It's been a long time but memories linger that are precious to me as I am sure they are to some of you. We may not have been run around buddies but good classmates. That makes for good memories.
Happy to say I'm doing extremely well after all the surgeries and new parts. It amazes me that I'm partially bionic, but, that's fine with me as long as I can continue to play with my grandchildren and hit the golf course occasionally. I'm still working but that will be forever. It's in my DNA! LOL!
Stay well my friends. I hope to be more diligent with my responding to your posts in the future.

Aug 29th, 2022 marked a miracle day for me. I survived one of the deadliest surgeries known. A complete Lower Trunk Arterial Bypass to increase blood flow to my lower extremities. God was certainly looking after me that day as I was in surgery for 7 1/2 hours with three surgeons working simultaneously to repair a hereditary issue that took my uncles life in the 60's. I came out expected to stay in ICU for at least two weeks, then go to recovery and rehab for another three months. They sent me home in seven days, I lost thirty seven pounds, mostly muscle as I couldn't eat more than a mouth full for a month. I certainly do not recommend the diet plan. Most painful thing I have gone through in my life. However, I survived when many thought I wouldn't, and have recovered almost completely. Prayer works. I have a large following of people who prayed constantly for my safety as I did just to make sure I was still around to be with my loving wife Jerri. We've made it for 55 years! Not ready to end it just yet.
I knew this surgery was a tough one but the doctors thought I was a tough SOB would be fine. Still, when I went back to my family doctor a few weeks later, I was shocked by the statement, " we didn't think you would survive". Basically, they move every organ you have off to one side (I think they through them on the floor), do the bypass, then put everything back in place. My wife says my organ family was not getting along well with their new position. I thought they left something out! Not a happy recovery period! However, I maintain my sense of humor about this trial and have 80% better blood flow to my legs. Doc says he can't do anything about the smaller issues down in my legs for a year. Seems, putting one to sleep for that long screws with the brain. For several weeks I could hardly remember my name. LOL! I'm assured this is a temporary issue as the synapsis in the brain have to reconnect. As we get older, it bad enough to remember things, but this was rediculous. Thank God I'm back to about normal and back at work in my company.
By the way old friends, my birthday is on July 29th. I would appreciate it if you guys would make note of that and post it so I can see just who remembers me or cares. Thanks.
Happy birthday old friend. So happy to see you’re still kicking it. God Bless!

Two new grand daughters
I'm sure we have all lost loved ones and classmates to this Covid19 virus. I do not pretend to understand the reasons behind such a disaster but I had a very wise biology teacher at Cooper that explained something very clearly. Put too many rats in one cage and bad things will happen. That's a simple as I can put it. Good luck to all and God Bless!
Happy upcoming Birthday Kenny! Hard to believe we are this old isn't it. I still feel like superman but with some small amount of tattered cape. How about you!
Happy Birthday Kenny. Hope its a good one. We need to treasure all we have left. LOL
