I had several classes with Larry at Cooper. He was one of the nicest guys I have ever known. I last saw him at the 1988 reunion. At the time he was a golf pro in San Saba. He sent greetings to the 1998 reunion but couldn't attend because he was being treated for leukemia. He died a year or so after that.
I attend classes with Larry at Cooper. I had no idea that later I would marry his cousin and become a member of his family. Jane and Don were a great Aunt and Uncle to us. Both played golf, Larry kept up with his dream.. Golf. Larry had knee problems..but he kept going...playing golf. The last time I saw Larry was at his mothers funeral. Our Prayers are with Larry ..and hope he is playing golf with Aunt Jane and Uncle Don.
