I knew Randy joined the military after high school.

When I moved from Abilene back to California the day after high school, I went to Camp Pendleton and asked if they had a "Randall Smith" there. They had dozens!!!

I couldn't locate Randy, but have always thought of him through the years.

If anyone knows any thing, please let me know. Randy always had a smile below that mischievious mind!

Take care Dear Randy. You are in a better place.

Randy was known as the guy with the perfect beatles hair cut.  It was perfect.  He kept it wet down while at school and behind his ear so he could get away with it.  In the evening he would let it out and it was the best beatle hair cut of abilene.

I knew him since elementary school also, along with ronnie reid and glynn fraser.  It's sad to know that they never got to live into their 30's or 40's.  This makes you realize the petty things that we kids worry about in school don't really matter once we get older.  the world will miss randy and glynn.  He played Bass guitar for awhile and came to my house a few times to practice with other guys. I was always mesmerized by his hair.
