Ps. My Mom and Rex's Mom are close-friends. I remember hanging out with him everytime we visit the Padernilla's home. I recall playing cards with Rex. When it's dinner time, Rex and I would always set the table or wash dishes...LOL. ;P I miss those funny days with Rex...
I remember my brother expressing his feelings one night to our mother about his classmate...then my sister...then they both hugged each other and started to cry...I wondered why my siblings were crying that night, I was so young at the time...now I know why...it's so hard to lose someone that you've gone to school with, grown with and have seen almost everyday: watched smile, heard laugh and have exchanged words with at one time. But blessed to have at least met their acquaintance in this lifetime.
Rest in Peace Rex. I wished I was as blessed as my siblings were to have known you.
