Debbie Morin (1984)
My Friend Brian. The last time I saw you, you were dressed in black from head to toe.. It was a Friday I believe. You were in the office assisting the staff. It was unusual that you dressed up this way but I thought you were just excited about your birthday weekend.
It was that night that you were going to prepare for your birthday.. a party that never came. You see, you were going to pick me up the following day.. and so I waited dear friend, and I waited but you never came. When I finally called your home, your sister Michelle answered and said.. "Deb, Brian died last night."
Brian, a frail, fair complected, funny and intelligent friend, the only kid my father entrusted me to attend parties with... A friend I often sat in class with our desk always adjoined. A friend that will never be forgotten.

Barbara Arriola (Cannon) (1984)
Vincent (Brian, as we would call him) and I were neighbors in Hyundia, Santa Rita. Brian and some of the guys from around the neighborhood with come to my house on Friday nites just to sit on the cement wall and talk and see what we were going to do for the nite. Sometimes the guys did their thing and the girls would do theirs or we would all just get together and go up to the bus stop at the entrance of Hyundia and just sit there and talk. I remember the night that he passed away like it was yesterday. It was him, Andrew Cruz and Roland Quinata. The three of them decided to go out that nite and I told them to be careful. Whats funny about this is that I had a HUGH crush on Andrew (since 76 when I first moved there) cause he stayed right across my house and I would sometimes know when Andrew came home, but this night, I slept right thru. Morning came and I was raking the front yard cause of the plumeria flowers and I see Andrew's mother and father pulling up to their house and out comes Andrew with a hand sling. He's mother wanted him to go in the house but he told her that he wasn't going to be long and started walking across the street to me. The closer he got to me and I started taking a good look at him, I then knew that something was very wrong. I then asked him what happened and he told me that they had gotten into a car accident in Tamuning right in front of the ITC Building. I asked how was Brian and Roland doing and that's when he told. I couldn't stop crying. Later that night, I drove up to the accident site and there on the pole was a dent of some sort from Roland's car. The day of Brian's funeral, I think all of the graduating class of 84 was there. It's been 25yrs and when I came across this website, I was so happy. Some time within the last week or so, someone had asked me why didn't we have a website for Agat/Santa Rita and I said I didn't know, but low and behold, we have one. Just want to thank the person or persons that are responsible for putting this website together. GREAT JOB WELL DONE!!
