I remember I last talked to Cyril for the last time at the Former Gibson shopping center. He told me that he will be transferring to Saipan to work there. But the last time I saw Cyril was on the road at the traffic light near Naval station gate (Now known as Big Navy). He was driving his sports car Trans AM. He even saw me. We waved at each other. A few weeks or maybe a few months later he was involved in a fatal auto-accident while driving his sports car. He was on his way to see his girlfriend off at the airport. He did not make it and his girlfriend left without knowing what happened to him.Cyril lived a good life and may God bless his soul in heaven.

I'll always remember Cy as one of those people that you just thought was a "good person." When we talk about those who have left us, we always say how nice they were. That they always had a smile, and we were happy whenever they came around. If you knew Cy, you knew that these things were all true about him. No one will ever say such things about Cy, just because they are being nice. We say these things because it is who Cy was. And he will always live in our hearts as that person who made us smile. You have left us missing you Cyril. But your gift of a smile lives in us all. Thank you for that.

Wow,just read about what happened that really sucks that things like that happens.I know first hand how that feels becuse thats what happened to my mom right after graduation when I moved to Philly. But at least I got to know Cy and I know he was always happy every time I seen him is my memory of him.RIP Cy You will be missed but not forgotten.Joenar Macapagal (1987)
It's April of 2010 and I just found this. Cyril was a good friend of mine. My fondest memory of Cy is like that of everyone else I guess, always smiling and happy. I was one of many "Navy brats" that found my way to Guam and only lived there for a brief period. It was Cy that taught me the "do's and don'ts" about Piti Middle School and Chamorros. I was a slow learner, but Cy made sure I didn't get myself in too much trouble!!! Upon transferring to Oceanview, Cy was there once again till I learned my way. Rest In Peace Brother...
