Guys, you should ve been here..my house has been turned into a laughter theater as I played comedian to my wife and clown to my kids....I never lack ideas from events and personalities at ACA....my o mine!!

I remember Atalau, bororoje, alepepe, ale-ale, oga alama memu temi joke oo!! I remember Mr Amele with his ''form 4, form 4!!'' He never stopped talking about form 4, what about one house-master that called his wife, ''mama Tolu jo bami kanna si radio yen''....i remember ewa poso, tissue reggae, atupa, mosquito, omo butter, ibadan-panbele, oracle of jollof, toronto, orlando,...and many of the funny-funny names young boys named themselves at ACA..

I remember loads of events that make titles for my comedies here....guys, you should ve been here!!!

Many thanks to my uncle and dad who decided ACA was the best for me amongst all the numerous good schools of those days... i'll for ever be greatful.

Brother, I wish I was there to watch your block busting Hollywood comedy show!

You did not remember to tell them about "Oga Alama kuge" (or was it Washon? somebody please correct me) of "Oyinbo carry last leg, Oyinbo run, run run, Eji Oba is a go" fame, when explaining to Fr Kelly, after causing our first (and only) loss to Eji Oba in 4 X 100m invitation relay?

What of Yola's (our goal keeper, senior 5 in 1979/80)overconfident assurance in 1980 that he would save Ilara Mokin Comprehensive high schools's dubious penalty kick, when our boys were about to disrupt the match at that point, only for him to concede the goal and made us lose the match?

It was great passing through ACA Brother...

Tunde Fadaka

Henry/Wole,
I will create time next week to load lots and lots of pics on line.
I have actually had a challenge with my internet mobile card, which has been, and is still out of action for weeks now. This has limited my abilities- and functionality- as administrator in the meantime.
Last I heards, Rotimi Olorunda practices in the UK- North of England, somewhere between Leeds and Manchester. I had sent invitations to him at two email addresses he used to have, but it appears that he longer uses them. I hope he gets to hear of this and comes on board one these days.
Regards

Tunde Fadaka

Hi All,
Please join in to wish Boluwaji Olanrewaju a Happy Birthday, which he has just celebrated -see anouncement page on this site for details.

I fully agree with him that we need to put a co ordinating team in place right away to manage the activities of the group, and I would suggest that we appoint coordinators and secretaries for the following different geographic zones|

Lagos and Ibadan
Akure
UK and Continental Europe
US,Canada and Americas

An overall Class president shall also be elected.

For these offices, I would propose that you all send in proposed names of reccomended persons for each zone, and I shall thereafter send out a circular on dates for online voting.
Eligible persons shall be only those who have registered on the site to date. Appointments shall be for a period of two years certain.
All qualified members as stated above shall be qualified to nominate, be nominated, vote, and be voted for.

However, the site administrator -Tunde Fadaka, being the electoral officer, is disqualified from voting or being voted for in this process.

Please let me have your comments before I develop this further.
Happy Easter

Wole Afuye

Guys,

Tunde has been a wonderful fellow. How much can we thank you. For me, I just got a friend's mail now,and I screamed. Bayo Gbadebo, whom I ve lost contact with ever since we left ACA. This is the only one among several friends that we both graduated from the same primary school before joining the Class 1979 -84 in ACA. You all will agree with me.

It is sad that we have lost some of our dear friends. Really, what can do ? You and I know that we cannot question God. He knows better we do. Let us just live to please God in everything we do.

Please i am also searching for Kingsley Umelo. No information about this guy yet.

Cheers.

Wole Afuye

Tunde Fadaka

Hi Brother,
I have not heard from Kingsley since we left ACA, but I had heard then that he proceeded to Canada for his tertiary education, and has probably not returned since.
Hopefully, someday, he'll get to hear about this site and contact us.
Thanks for your kind comments earlier on, and have a great day!

Regards

Waoh - Guys, ribs are cracking and I just rolled of my seat...Wole I couldn't get over you, Tunde that was a good follow up too.

Does anyone remember the saying - Mo fo kuo lee down? or that snr that went like - Oga meri buedi, eyi mori o gan o gan bi pali

The days of Rura was fun, while some stronger mates (Oga bibi, Oga Solo, Pa Toro...) would snatch basin of beans(Ewa poso) of the head of some woman that used to bring food from the PTA chairman's house - for instance

Quite an intersting time that was, wish all those times could repeat. In ma sevu re, In sevu..an ti mu jeun lerekan Mami!!!

The last year boarding was great - just us - the throwing stones at each other, some guys that raided the poultry or the potatoes one - Kai!

Mr ?, our economic teacher who had that remarkable example for Elasticity and Demand

Tunde and co - You have done a good job - I look forward to the reunion party - Muturu must happen again - this time nobody go take tail

For the guys not here today - May there Soul rest in peace

See you all soon...

Dayo Adeyileka

Hi guys, I am so so impressed with this innovation, God is awesome, its amazing, all of us from the jungle of boarding school in Akure and see what the lord has done in our different lives... ACA was such an experience for me coming from Lagos and having never handled a cutlass in my life to cut grass!! coupled with some characters of teachers just to name a few. But God had a plan, for a blessed nation (US) and he has blessed us beyond measure in different works of life globally.

May God almight bless the initiators of this project as it is indeed a miracle to track down you guys again..

ACA brought out the best in me, in sports (Cricket, Soccer, Basketball etc) I am now a dire hard ARSENAL Supporter..

Hope to see some of ya soon, Wole Osewa, Henry etc

It depends whose hands it's in.

A basketball in my hands is worth about $19.
A basketball in Michael Jordan's
hands is worth about $33 million.
It depends whose hands it's in.

A baseball in my hands is worth about $6.
A baseball in Mark McGwire's hands is worth $19 million.
It depends whose hands it's in.

A tennis racket is useless in my hands.
A tennis racket in Venue Williams'
hands is a Championship Winning.
It depends whose hands it's in.

A rod in my hands will keep away a wild animal.
A rod in Moses' hands will part the mighty sea.
It depends whose hands it's in.

A sling shot in my hands is a kid's toy
A sling shot in David's hand is a mighty weapon.
It depends whose hands it's in.

Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in my
hands is a co uple of fish sandwiches.
Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in
God's hands will feed thousands.
It depends whose hands it's in.

Nails in my hands might produce a birdhouse
Nails in Jesus Christ's hands will
produce salvation for the entire world.
It depends whose hands it's in.

As you see now it depends whose hands it's in.
So put your concerns, your worries, your fears,
your hopes, your dreams, your families and your
