This was Manuel's obituary.

At age 56, Manuel Levi Aragon died on July 13, 1999. Manuel was born April 30, 1943 to Lupe Aragon and Lucy Espinosa Aragon.  He was the brother of Cleo Mascarenas, Lillian Salazar, Edna Lopez, Adolph Aragon, Elizabeth Lucero, Arthur Aragon and Sarah McDonald.  Manuel had two children and nine grandchildren.

He grew up in a very humble home, the son of a poor farmer, a very loving child who loved to tease his brothers and sisters.  He grew up in a very strict home.

Manuel graduated from Alamosa High School and Adams State College. Manuel Levi had several degrees. Manuel never met a stranger, he never bragged, though very well educated and very independent.  He loved life, lived life to the fullest.  Manuel was raised Catholic and accepted the truth of Jehovah.  He loved the Bible and couldn't seem to get enough of God's Word the Bible.  In honor of Manuel Levi Aragon, his jamily is setting up a scholarship to a deserving Spanish American.  Manuel had a love of eduction, wildlife and love for fellow man.  He was willing to help and give a hand to anyone in need. He was everybody's friend and brother.
