The reunion will definitely be in Albany. The chairs and committe will have specific information to follow very soon including the exact dates.

So what did you think about the debate tonight between Biden and Palin? Personally, I felt that Sarah Palin was definitely charasmatic and confident. Of course she didn't directly answer all the questions, but she didn't seem intimidated either. It was a bit funny and a little inappropriate, I think, when Palin made the comment to the moderator about making a "lame attempt at a joke, that no one seemed to get." I was waiting for the moderator to get up and slap her and then proceed to the next question. (LOL) All and all I don't feel that Obama's race for President was hurt by the debate tonight at all. I am happy that although Biden did get a little chocked up when mentioning his daughter, that he didn't break down and loose it. That would not have been helpful, however, his slight show of emotion made him look more human which was probably a positive impact. All I can say is, "Go Obama/Biden!"

I thought that it was funny how she continually avoided many questions, and tried to redirect the discussion back to energy, which we all know is one of her strong suites. It didn't make her look stong in that area in my opinion, it just made her look less strong in all of the other areas. I hope that everyone registers to vote, encourages all that they know to register to vote, and actually VOTE. This is a life changing moment in our society. We were not old enough to be a part of the Civil Rights Movement. This is the next BIG moment, and we are right smack dab in the middle. I hope that we do not let the opportunity to help Barack Obama become the next President of the United States pass. I don't know about everybody else, but I am in the middle class, and CANNOT stand another 4 years under a Republican Administration.

* Remember not to wear any Obama stuff to vote, because I am sure that this will be the year that they enforce the law stating that you can't (Now if you are voting for McCain, please wear all the McCain stuff that you can get your hands on :) ).

I loved the video. It is powerful to me, that for the first time in history, our little black boys, can look at the president of the United States, and actually say, "that could be me one day." Even if you teach your children to believe that they can be anything that they want to be (including president of the United States of America), it can sometimes be difficult, when they look at decades of pictures of presidents all the way back to George Washington, and none of them look like them. BUT, now there is a real possibility that my child will be able to look at the next book with all of the pictures of presidents in it, and say, "mommy that man looks like me."
