i've been thinking about this reunion thing. i was kind af a jerk in high school. in the last 20 years i've only gotten better at being a jerk. so i have some questions:

does anyone really want me to come?
should i be concerned about retaliation from those i may have offended?
if i come do i have to bring my wife?
if i bring my wife will people make fun of her?
should i be offended if they do?
do i have to bring her home again?
will bob havard chaperone the event?
and can somebody please find jim cigelske?!

1. Does anyone really want me to come? - I'm sure there's somebody in our class that wants to see you.

4. If I bring my wife will people make fun of her? - No, but she might be shown some pity.
5. Should I be offended if they do? - No, no one has anything against her, only you.

7. Will Bob Havard chaperone the event? - He's a finalist along with Paul Ebnet and Bill Krogman.
8. And can somebody please find Jim Cigelske?! - He’s currently in the witness protection program

It's cool that you guys are using this site..sorry I am only reading this now.

FYI: Jim is alive and well and in Monticello, he plays poker with my husband, has a nice wife and a new baby!

Now Fred, you have someone who may kick your ass at the reunion. I'll let Jim know where YOU are...

Your other questions are valid, Fred, and I guess I'm glad I am me and not you. I was nice.
Send Bonnie in your place, she'll have more fun and she can give your wife a ride home.

Thanks so much for the thoughtful and detailed reply to my questions. You must have sacrificed some of your yard time over ther in stillwater just to send a response. That means a lot to me. Is it still a possibility that you will be released prior to the reunion? I know a lot of people that you owe money would love to see you. Are any of the restraining orders you have been served with in regards to former classmates? I hope not. When you get out will you have the same PO? If you do, see if you can get me another one of those remote alcohol test things for my wife? She some how managed to re-progam the last one. The things she learned in that prison in Columbia continue to amaze me. I don't have access to a computer very often so I hope you can forgive the delay in my response. Well, stay strong, and no more attempts on the warden's life and you will be out of there before you know it.

Mr. Holthaus,

I have always felt bad about this. Do you remember that Chevy truck you had with the custom paint that was egged? Well Chris Nett was the mastermind behind that whole thing. I still have a copy of the reciept for the eggs from Amby's(chris was going to claim the eggs as a business expense). I hope this makes things right between you and I and maybe I can count on you to help watch my back as I have always watched yours.

Before any one corrects me, I know using "Chris Nett" and "mastermind" in the same sentence makes no sense. Maybe I should have used "ringleader" but then someone would have said "Chris couldn't lead a pack of squirrels." I don't know,...it's just so hard to use descriptive terms with a guy like Chris. Maybe if I had learned some other languages.

Wow. Has it really been 20 years since I almost didn't graduate? (Wait, do I have to bring my diploma to get into the reunion?)

Fred, if you can believe it I am alive and well, and it is true - I was in the witness protection plan until Chris blew my cover. Thanks a lot. Now I'll have to pack up and move again.

Beth, this is a great site. I wish I had known about this sooner, and thanks for the nice comment about my wife but I beg to differ. (I hope she doesn't read this).
