Hello Classmates! Thank you all for joining the site. Please be sure to tell all your classmates to check it out and update their profile.

Janice and I have met a couple times to talk about a date and location for our reunion. We are tentatively thinking the 1st or 2nd Saturday of October 2010 at the Albany Golf Course. We thought those who wanted to golf, weather permitting, could and we'd have another day activity for those who didn't golf.

We thought of having an easy "dinner" of sandwiches, veggies and snacks.

Janice Ritter (Mergen) Hello Everyone! This is Janice Ritter Mergen and I am looking forward to seeing many of you at our 2010 class reunion. Kim and I can not believe it will be 20 years already! We are open to any suggestions for making this reunion fun for everyone! Take Care!

Melissa Zimmermann (Schofield) Hello Janice and Kim, I think the idea of easy dinner and the location are great. I'm just wondering about the date, since school and sports will have started by then, is there a particular reason for waiting til October? Thanks for getting this all put together, Melissa (Zimm)

Janice Ritter (Mergen) We had thought maybe summer/end of summer would be to busy. Should we try to schedule it with Albany Heritage Days?

Melissa Shay (Gamble) I wouldn't do that again, the Heritage Days weekend. It didn't seem to work to well last time everyone was kind of just gathered with the other 1000 people that were there, not really a reunion. I think if you do it early enough in the fall it would be fine. Football games etc. usually run on Friday anyway. Just my two cents.

Any one interested in having the reunion in Spring instead? The last times this seemed busier for more families then Fall did.

Barbara Ramacher (Hoppe) I think you're right. Spring is much busier for most families. I say go with a late summer or early fall date (but NOT with Heritage Days).

Janice Ritter (Mergen) Thank you for your suggestions! Please keep them coming so we can schedule a date. It seems like summer or near the end of summer would be best. We will keep checking in too see if more classmates agree.

Michele Pierson (Rychner) I too think that early Fall would be better. But I know I will be gone the 2nd weekend of October but that is only me. See what works for most.

Hello All ~ We would like to get more input on when you would like the reunion. Our initial thoughts were October, but responses seem to indicate that is too busy a time with children in school.

How about the 3rd weekend of August? Please post your thoughts...
