La Cueva High School
Class Of 1989
Marc Beverly

I thought I wanted to fly planes, so I went to work in an engineering dept in San Antonio, Tx the day after graduation. I came back to ABQ with a motorcycle and became a paramedic. That wasn't enough so I went to the Univ. of Utah in Salt Lake, then worked as an interventional cardiology physician assistant at the Heart Hospital. Now, I'm a mountain guide and run my own businesses, a guiding service in New Mexico, Colorado, and abroad. The other business focuses on technical rope rescue instruction and we primarily teach government and military SOF teams how to move lighter and faster and more efficient.
We used to sneak up on the school and rappel off during the night. I think would be considered an act of terrorism today.
