Tom Horne and Tom Livingston were two of my first friends in the 8th grade at Jefferson Jr. High.  Bob Scott,

Vic Padila, and Gail Robinson Twileger were all part of that home room group. We will all miss you

Big Red. You were a great friend. May you rest in peace. Jim W.

Tom had one of those personalities that are hard to forget.  I can picture him as if it were yesterday.  Too many classmates passing.  We will miss you Tom.

My gosh.   I'm stunned.  I had the pleasure of interacting with Tom many years after HHS in addition to being high school friends, and he was as always -- honest, friendly, upbeat, competent -- a good man.  I will miss the service on the 31st because I have a granddaughter visiting from out of town, and I'll spend time with her.  I know Tom would approve of my prioritization.  Rest in peace, good friend.

I am very sad and surprised to hear that Tom passed away. Tom, his brother Bobby, Maltese,Cronican,Hoot Jory, and Lise and Grady and I all worked together for many great years at Olympic Sports on the Triangle. We laughed and skied had some great times. He always stayed in touch with me even when I was remote. He helped me out of a self inflicted jam 30years ago and was instrumental in getting my life back on track. I'll miss that mustard colored BMW he drove till it finally gave up..he was also extremely kind to his sister Helen, his secretary, and his best friend Bobby H. We will all miss him.

Tom was a friend and a neighbor. I spent many afternoons at his house and his family treated me with kindness and generosity. So sorry.

Tom was my first friend in Albuquerque when my family moved into our home, just a few houses from his, during the summer before my second grade year.  Tom and I walked and rode bikes to Zia together, which made my transition to a new city and a new school much less stressful!  My sister, Sherry, and I spent lots of time hanging out with the Horne kids throughout our elementary years, and even though Tom and I transitioned to different groups at Jefferson and Highland, we remained friends and visited with each other when our paths crossed in the neighborhood.  During college he came to my house to wish me well before my wedding, and we touched base with each other when I visited home with my own children, as we lost parents, and when Sherry passed away.  I will always have a special place in my heart for Tommy, my kind, supportive first Albuquerque/school friend, and I am thinking of him especially this 50th Reunion week.

I remember Tommy Horne from Zia Elementary -- he was just always so nice and friendly to everyone.  It is very sad to read about his passing.

I am so sad to hear of Tom's passing.  We were in first grade at Zia together.  I loved his red hair!!  He was always a really nice boy and a good friend.  I went to my first boy/girl party at his house and we played spin the bottle.   I didn't have a clue what we were doing.  I think it was 4th grade.  RIP Tommy, as I knew you.  Heaven has another really good man.
