Charlie Barela, age 51, went home to be with the Lord on May 31, 2004.
Charlie was born on April 16, 1953 in New Mexico.
Charlie was preceded in death by his mother, Eualia Barela, father, Manuel Barela, brother, George Barela and sister, Ruth Zamora.
Charlie is survived by his daughters, Christine Loidolt and her husband, Chris and Cecilia Barela, son, Charles Barela, brothers, Ernest Barela and his wife, Frances and Eddie Barela, sisters, Clorinda Romero and her husband, Pete, Dora Sena and her husband, Arthur, Eve Waggermen and Emily Lencioni and her husband, Mark, brother-in-law, Nestor Zamora, his grandchildren, Christopher, Derek and Alyxandria Loidolt.
Charlie will be deeply missed by his loving family.
A rosary will be recited on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of García Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. at Church of the Ascension. Interment will follow at the Pajarito Cemetery.
