Obituary of Fernando David Chavez

Fernando David Chavez, age 59, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM, currently resided in Medanales, NM, passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2012. David was a loving man who was outgoing, friendly and adventurous. He was an active man who enjoyed being outdoors, loved telling stories but most of all loved spending time with his family. Fernando was preceded in death by his parents, Fernando and Angie Chavez; sister, Evelyn "Nona" Chavez; brother-in-law, Sam Burge. Fernando is survived by his sons, Fernando Chavez and his wife Angela and David Chavez and his wife Tracy; daughter, Christina Griego and husband, Carlos; grandchildren, Ashley and Gabriel Chavez, Alicia and Carlos Griego, Jr, Rose and Violet Chavez and Seth and Julian Cancel; brothers, Jessie and Tim Chavez; sisters, Barbara Cordova and companion Wilfred Morales, Dorothy Burge and Emma Miramontes and husband Rafael as well as numerous nephews, nieces and other loving relatives and friends. Rosary will be recited on Monday August 20, 2012 at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Parish, located at 309 Stover Ave SW with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 AM.
