Carolyn Sue Conkle Thompson

Carolyn Sue Conkle Thompson died December 31, 1997, at the Villa Grande in northern New Mexico. She married Joseph L. Thompson in 1969 and they had three children, Julie, Eric and Daphne. All her life she loved the mountains and after college they moved to Texas but the flat landscape sent her back to her beloved mountains, first near Los Alamos and then to a cabin in the woods, where they lived with animals, mountains, and pets. Her remains are still there, but since no obituary was written, I have written one based on information provided by Larry Conkle, Carolyn’s brother.
