David F. Garrett – 54, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, February 17, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Beckie Garrett of Albuquerque; daughters, Amy Powell and husband, Doug, and Stacey Garrett; sons, Ryan Garrett and wife, Sharon and Jeff Garrett, all of Albuquerque; grandsons, Keenen, Jayden, Garion and Jaden; brothers, Don Lucas and wife, Maxine of Albuquerque and Mike Garrett and wife, Juanita of Bloomfield, NM; and nieces and nephews. He was a member of the FCA and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and golf. Memorial services will be held Friday, February 22, 2002 at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Broadway & Central NE. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE Albuquerque Journal, Wed.
