Phil “Pud” Osuna – 49, a resident of Albuquerque since 1959, died Saturday, May 4, 1996. He is survived by his wife, Trish and son, Benjamin A. Osuna, both of the family home; and mother, Katherine Osuna of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his father, the late Judge Benjamin Osuna. Mr. Osuna taught with the Albuquerque Public Schools for 27 years. He taught at John Adams and at Truman Middle High School and was currently a teacher at West Mesa High School. Mr. Osuna was a member of the Albuquerque Teachers Federation and a graduate of Eastern New Mexico State University.  Services will be Wednesday, 4:30 p.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Rev. Kevin Strempke officiating.  In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to West Mesa High School, Phil Osuna Scholarship Fund, c/o Bookkeeper, 6701 Fortuna NW, Albuquerque, NM  87121.
