Hugo Schulte was a fun loving guy, although we hadn't seen each other in many years. His parents owned a business in Los Ranchos right down the road from Chase Hardware (Janell's folks). The last time I saw him and spoke to him was at our 30th. He'd always had a shaved head but had a full head of hair, so I didn't recognize him! He will be missed.
Hugo was a great guy as you said Paula. I hadn't seen him since High School but we had been friends since our days at Taft. We would walk "home" together quite often. He will be missed.
So sad to find out Hugo passed away. During high school, we took several classes together, and we talked a lot. Hugo always had that beautiful smile on his face that you see on his yearbook picture whenever you talked to him or you saw him down the hallway. Hugo was a very nice guy and it was always a joy being around him. RIP!
