Debra J. Banda, 55, loving mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on November 16, 2018.
Debra was an only child, but she was a sister to many, like a mother to even more and one of the best friend's anyone could ask for. Her calling was centered in being of service to people, both professionally and personally. Debra's greatest joys were her children, being "Nani" to her grandchildren, the outdoors, the wind in her hair and cooking for her family. Her laugh was contagious, Her smile infectious and she could always make you forget your troubles. But the one thing she would always remind us was “everybody’s different!”
Debra was born on July 8, 1963 to Frances and Jimmy Baldonado, who both preceded her in death. A lifelong resident of the Albuquerque area and graduate of Valley High School. She is survived by her loving children, son Lorenzo and fiancé Crystal; daughter, Franchesca; and grandchildren, Gavin and Mila. Debra will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.
