Brenda Lee Carrillo was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM, age 51, went home to be with the Lord on April 25, 2014, with her family by her side. She is survived by her beloved parents Lurie and Priscilla Carrillo; three brothers, Dennis and wife Annette Carrillo, Steve Carrillo, and Adrian Paul Carrillo; nieces Angelina Carrillo and Alyssa Carrillo; nephew Christopher Carrillo; and many loving friends and family who will miss her dearly. Brenda is also survived by her precious "ba-bies", Bart and Maxine. Brenda was born February 27, 1963 and a 1981 graduate of Valley High School. She was an accomplished culinary artist and took pride in her profession.
She was the proud owner of The Chile Pod Food Truck and thoroughly enjoyed making delicious cuisine for all. Brenda was also in the child care business with her mother for many years. Everyone who knew Brenda knew she had a heart of gold, a great sense of hu-mor, and could have you laughing until your cheeks hurt. She will be greatly missed. To respect Brenda's wishes, services will be private.
Honorary pallbearers will be her three brothers Dennis Carrillo, Steve Carrillo, Adrian Paul Carrillo; her god children Luis B. Carrillo II, Charles Padilla, Dylan Galvan, Janelle Trujillo, Daisy Trujillo, and cousin Brian Padilla. We love you Brenda and we will miss you.
