On January 29, 2022, Michael Anthony Dunsavage passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. After 34 years of service with The University of Texas at El Paso, he celebrated retirement in 2016, and enjoyed spending his free time in his garden and at home with his family.

My cross was getting too heavy.

My soul was calling for help!

My Lord heard my pleas,

His strong arms I felt!

He carried me to Heaven,

Where I will rest in peace!

Michael is survived by his wife, Sandra, daughter, Vanessa Lorraine, daughter, Valerie Nicole, son, Michael Anthony Jr., parents, Gloria and Frank Quintana, sisters, Rebecca Martinez, Victoria Quintana, Yvonne Vicencio.
